Abu Hamza reported that he asked Imam al Sadiq (as) : Can a man look at his wife’s genital area, while having coitus with her?
Imam (as) replied : There is no problem in it.
Note: If one is planning for conceiving a child then the couple should not look at the the private part while having coitus.
As it is mentioned in the hadith from Rasool Allah (saww) that it may cause blindness to the child.¹
