Ahmad ibn Umar al Halabi said: I said to Imam Abu Abdillah (as): Which characteristic of the person is the most beautiful?

Imam (as) replied: Dignity without awe, and generosity without demanding reciprocation, and pre-occupation with other than worldly pleasures.
